Housing Programs
The Delaware Tribe Housing Program (DTHP) is located in the Community Center at 5100 Tuxedo Boulevard. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The office is closed during the lunch hour. Applications, questions and payments are handled in the Housing Office. Outside the door is a drop box for tenants to drop off their monthly payments. DTHP is here to serve the housing needs of our Delaware tenants and other enrolled members of federally recognized tribes. The Bartlesville housing office number is (918) 337-6572.
Homeowner Assistance Fund Program
Required Documents:
- Verification of Tribal enrollment with a federally recognized tribe for Head of Household OR Spouse, Tribal Citizenship or enrollment card, Tribal ID OR official correspondence from the Tribal enrollment office.
- Identification for EVERYONE listed on the application. Choose one from this list: Driver’s License, State Identification Card, Birth Certificate, Tribal ID Cards OR CDIB.
- Income Verification for EVERYONE 18 years of age or older. Check stubs, payment statements, prior year tax returns may also be used OR a transaction report from BIA for last 12 months.
- Copy of warranty deed and mortgage statement showing payment and arrearage amounts.
- Documentation from a utility company, cooperative, vendor or municipality with the amount due. Copies of recent utility bills.
- If applicable, documentation of current insurance, insurance statement of premium due or quotes, property tax statement, and/or documentation of title resolution issue.
- Documentation of reduced household income, incurred significant costs, or other financial hardship caused directly or indirectly by COVID-19.
Low Rent Family
Rent is based on 25%, not to exceed 30%, of monthly-adjusted income. Ceiling rents range from $300 to $400 per month. A security deposit of $100 per bedroom is required. Yearly re-examination of income, family composition, and an annual inspection of units are requirements for this program.
Pets are permitted in the Low Rent Family program. The DTHP has a Pet Policy which limits the number and size of pets and requires an additional deposit which must be paid before move-in.
Utilities and yard maintenance are the responsibility of the resident. Residents must have a verifiable income and annual income cannot exceed 80% of the National Median Income Limits for placement.
Low Rent Elderly
Rent is based on 25% of monthly-adjusted income. Ceiling rent on these units is $200. There is a security deposit of $75 for this program. Yearly re-examination of income, family composition, and annual inspection of units are required for this program.
The DTHP permits pets in the Low Rent Elderly program in accordance with the DTHP Pet Policy. A pet deposit is required and must be paid before move-in.
This complex is designed for elderly or near elderly households. Utilities are the responsibility of the resident. Maintenance and yard care are provided by the DTHP. Residents must have a verifiable income and annual income cannot exceed 80% of the National Median Income Limits for placement.
